Birth of Devi Parvati :

 It is believed Lord Brahma was impressed by Himavan or Himavat who was the king of mountains as he offers regular prayer of Gods and Goddesses and he was great devotee of Lord Vishnu. So, Lord Brahma gave Himavan's wife a boon to have a wonderful girl child . He likewise exhorted that many individuals would know her Parvati.

That very night, Mainavati had a dream that she met Adi Shakti- Supreme Goddess, and Adi Shakti said to her that she would be reawakened for the world and be a go-between. Then in her dream, Adi Shakti transformed into light and entered Mainvati's belly .

Marriage of Devi Parvati and Bhagwan Shiva:

    Lord Shiva felt that Devi Parvati was just about as stubborn as him, so this pair would be great. The wedding arrangements began going all out. But the issue was that Lord Shiva was a asetic and god of gods and there was no one in his family because he is unborn. 

    But the belief was that a groom has to go with his family and ask for the hand of the bride. Presently experiencing the same thing, Lord Shiva chose to take Dakinis, phantoms and witches alongside him.

    Being a asetic, Lord Shiva didn't know about how to get ready for marriage. So his maidens and witches decorated them with ashes and garlanded him with bones. The wedding procession of Lord Shiva was grand. Ghosts, ghouls and Ganas of Lord Shiva was dancing in that wedding procession.

   When this extraordinary wedding procession of Lord Shiva arrived at Devi Parvati's entryway, all deities were staggered. The ladies remaining there additionally ran away in fear. Devi Parvati's mother Devi Mainavati couldn't acknowledge Lord Shiva in this bizarre structure and she wouldn't give her girl's hand.

  When Lord Shiva appeared in this heavenly form in front of Devi Parvati's mom. She quickly acknowledged him and the wedding started within the sight of Brahma. Mother Parvati and Bhagwan Shiva garlanded one another and this marriage was completed on a happy note.
